     ​Bakersfield is the county seat of Kern County California. It's main industries are agriculture and oil production.  It's population has steadily grown over the past decade and the city currently have around 380,000 population.  Coming all from divers ethnic and racial profiles, it is a city with it's own culture. Climate is mostly warm like most of California but the summers can be really hot. Air quality has been an important consideration why people move out of Bakersfield.  In general, it's people are easy-going, but hard working and fiercely dedicated to the community.
